Youth Services

One in five Americans experiences a mental disorder in any given year. Children and youth under age 18 are no exception, the most frequent conditions requiring treatment being attention deficit disorders and depression or substance abuse. Other youth get into trouble at school or in the community and benefit from learning positive attitudes and skills that prevent repeat arrests and reduce court involvement.

All services to children and youth are designed to prevent problems from occurring and help young people and their families grow through difficult times. Early help is more effective in every instance. Services are delivered at convenient times in comfortable locations that include offices, schools, family homes or other community locations.

Diverse and skilled staff are committed to service of the highest quality. For general information about youth services programs, call Jean Alstat, Youth Services Director, at 618-457-6703, Extension 228.
