Evidence based outpatient substance abuse education and treatment services include assessment, early intervention, individual counseling, group counseling, case management, and counseling for co-occurring disorders. Substance abuse counseling for pregnant women and IV drug users is a priority. Services are individualized to address each person’s special concerns and underlying substance abuse issues. The goal of services is to build and develop coping skills that prevent reliance on substances and promote resiliency and recovery. SIRSS accepts payment for services from Medicaid, Medicare, FamilyCare, and some private insurers. Some persons are eligible for services at discounted rates.
How to Apply - First time appointments are made by calling 618-457-6703 between the hours of 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM.
When you call for an appointment, the Customer Care Representative will gather this information. You will be asked to bring these items with you to your first appointment. Every attempt will be made to schedule first appointment within three weeks of your request. Generally, first appointments take about 2 hours.
