Systems of Care & Transitional Living

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) funds Systems of Care services to address multiple issues that hinder positive development and contribute to risk of foster placement disruption of children who are wards of DCFS. Systems of Care services are provided in Jackson and Perry counties.  Referrals must come from DCFS staff or from staff of Child Welfare Agencies who have foster care contracts with DCFS.   

How to Refer – For more information about Systems of Care or Transitional Living, call SIRSS at 618-457-6703 and ask for Lynda Killoran at Extension 244.  Emergency access to Systems of Care services is through the CARES phone line at 1-800-345-9049.
