Services For Adults

Geriatric Behavioral Health Services

Elderly adults with mental illness are offered home and office based services including assessment, counseling, case management, consultation, and referral to other community resources for seniors.  Liaison services to local area nursing homes are available.

SIRSS accepts payment for services from Medicaid, Medicare, FamilyCare and some private insurers.  Some persons are eligible for services at discounted rates.

How to Apply – First time appointments are made by calling 618-457-6703 between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM and asking for Dean Marlow, the SIRSS Screening Specialist at 618-457-6703, Extension 273.  When you call for an appointment, the Screening Specialist will want this information.  You will be asked to bring these items with you to your first appointment.  You may also bring a completed Application for Service with you to your first appointment if you wish.  Every attempt will be made to schedule your first appointment within three weeks of your request.
