Many counseling groups are available addressing issues like depression, recovery from trauma, relationship difficulties, stress management, and self-esteem. A 12-week Anger Management Skills Group helps individuals learn to effectively cope with anger, which then enhances their interactions with others and improves personal well-being. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is effective for persons with multiple difficulties that include unstable mood, self-injurious behavior, impulsive behavior, risky behavior, suicidal threats or attempts, and intense or unstable relationships. SIRSS accepts payment from Medicaid, Medicare, FamilyCare, and some private insurers. Some persons are eligible for services at discounted rates. How to Apply – First time appointments are made by calling 618-457-6703 between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM and asking forDean Marlow , the SIRSS Screening Specialist at 618-457-6703, Extension 273. When you call for an appointment, the Screening Specialist will want this information. You will be asked to bring these items with you to your first appointment. You may also bring a completed Application for Service with you to your first appointment if you wish.
