Youth Residential Advisors (Part Time) Work with youth aged 18-20 transitioning from the DCFS system into the community. These positions require a bachelors degree in human services; experience working with youth/young adults or in a residential setting is a plus. Availability must include evenings and weekends, but will vary as this is a 24 hour site. Adult Therapist To to provide direct clinical services to adults including mental health assessments, treatment planning, group and individual therapy, and case management services of planning, linking, and advocacy. Must have a Master’s degree in a human service field that included supervised experience in providing therapy to adults. Must have a license or be license eligible to provide mental health therapy services. Must have good oral and written communication skills and be proficient with computers regarding word processing and entering information into Anasazi, a computerized clinical documentation program. Other requirements include possessing a valid Illinois driver’s license and having unlimited access to own transportation for non-client work related activities. Must be able to pass all applicable background checks and a drug test. A good benefit package and positive work environment are offered. After Hours Emergency Counselor To provide services to adults in crisis. This is a part-time position for on-call services; current opening is for overnight/midnight shifts. Duties include crisis intervention and mental status assessments. Applicants must have a Masters degree in a human services field, reliable transportation, and be able to pass required background check. Emergency Youth Homes Needed Young people sometimes need temporary shelter when things aren’t working out at home – is your home some place they might stay? Emergency youth homes provide temporary shelter, usually just a few nights, to youth 11 – 17 years of age, who need to make arrangements away from their families. Agency staff provides all transportation and will coordinate around your work schedule. Emergency Youth Homes are compensated by nightly rates, must be state licensed, and abide by foster home regulations.
