Southern Illinois Regional Social Services has the following open position (s):

  • TLP Youth Case Manager: Full time position available for work with youth aged 18-20 transitioning from the DCFS system into the community.  This position requires a bachelor’s degree in human services and at least 1 year experience working with youth; some travel required.  Experience with DCFS preferred, DCFS Licensed Child Welfare Specialist a plus.  Hours will be primarily days but may vary as this is a 24 hour site.  A good benefit package and positive work environment are offered.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
  • Facilities Specialist: Full time position for a well organized self starter to be responsible for facility management functions. Duties to include: vehicle fleet and office equipment management and purchasing of supplies, services and equipment. Experience performing these duties required; bachelor’s degree preferred. A good benefit package and positive work environment are offered.  Salary is commensurate with experience.
  • After Hours Emergency Counselorto provide services to adults and youth in crisis.  This is a part-time position for on-call services; current opening is for evenings or overnight/midnight/weekend and holiday shifts.  Duties include crisis intervention, mental status assessments, runaway and locked out situations. Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in a human services field with two years experience (Masters degree preferred).
  • Substance Abuse Counselor Position:  Duties include providing individual and group treatment to individuals with substance abuse disorders, completing substance abuse assessments, performing case management for clients, facilitating development of treatment plans and conducting treatment reviews.  Requirements:  Master’s degree in counseling, rehabilitation or related field, CADC and/or LCPC preferred, experience with ASAM and DSM criteria, MISA knowledge a plus, with good computer and documentation skills.  Must be able to work flexible hours which would include a least two early evenings per week.
