Some persons with severe or persistent mental illness need individually tailored support services to thrive in the community. The intensity of support for wellness and recovery varies according to need, and may be short-term or long-term.
Case management services might include assisting a person in linking with community resources and with finding and keeping a job. Counseling and support with daily living skills and relationships are also integral elements of treatment. Depending on need, a person might participate in one or more specialized services, which include Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Community Integration Services (CIS) or supportive residential services. SIRSS accepts payment from Medicaid, Medicare, FamilyCare, and private insurers.
Some persons are eligible for services at discounted rates.
