 | | SIRSS Annual Client Writes Survey
In order to solicit feedback from clients about their perceptions of and satisfaction with services at SIRSS, the Client Writes is distributed twice per year for completion by all SIRSS clients receiving services during a designated two week period of time. Three separate questionnaires are used to target specific populations. The Case Management Module is used for clients in Community Recovery Services (CRS). The Outpatient Module, Adult Version is used for clients in Adult Counseling Services (ACS) and Substance Abuse Recovery Services (SARS). The Outpatient Module, Child and Adolescent Version is used for clients in Youth Services (YS).
All three questionnaires ask similar questions, with the Case Management Module focusing more specifically on items such as skills training, residential settings, day treatment, etc., that are more specific to services provided in Community Recovery Services. Results are from the most recent survey completed in April, 2006, are summarized below: Client Writes Survey Results — April 2006 In the Community Recovery Services (CRS) Division: - There was a 66% response rate representing 32% of registered clients in this division.
- 99% of the people who completed the survey reported they are mostly to very satisfied with our organization.
- All eight of the scores pertaining to individual’s current life situations were rated as being near or above the somewhat better range in CRS.
- Individuals reported being mostly to very satisfied with:
Case manager’s skills and abilities Case manager’s availability Case manager’s understanding of their problems Overall helpfulness Day programming (Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services).
- Individuals in CRS reported being mostly satisfied with our vocational programming.
In the Adult Outpatient Module which includes both Adult Counseling Services (ACS) and Substance Abuse Recovery Services (SARS) Divisions: - The response rate was 68% which represents 38% of the registered clients in ACS and 35% in SARS.
- 98% of individuals in ACS and SARS indicated that they would recommend SIRSS to other people.
- Individuals in ACS and SARS reported being mostly to very satisfied with:
Appointment scheduling procedures Therapy/counseling services Overall quality of our services Respect with which they are treated Staff’s concern for their privacy.
In the Youth Services (YS) Division Module - There was an 85% response rate, but only 52 people completed the survey (13% of the registered clients in this division).
- 95% of those who completed the survey in Youth Services reported that they are mostly to very satisfied with our organization.
- Individuals in Youth Services reported being mostly to very satisfied with:
Promptness of appointments Skills/understanding of their therapist Overall quality of our services Respect shown to them Staff’s concern for their privacy.
